The Japanese car manufacturing company, Toyota, launched its Lexus RX 450h in 2004 for the first time. It was readily available in the market for buyers in 2005. It is a luxury car in the real sense of word. It has a great road performance, style and elegance; and for having these qualities, this car is very popular amongst its buyers.

Its 3.5 litres V6 engine works on the Atkinson cycle for an additional efficiency, as by doing this, it will consume a smaller amount of fuel.

The RX comes with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), which features various driving modes for different requirements. It comes with both Eco Mode and EV Mode drive options, apart from the standard driving option. The car also has state-of-the-art safety systems such as the Pre-collision system, anti- lock brakes and visibility enhancing devices, which make its safe ride even safer.
